Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering product demos, and assisting with purchases
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
• Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
• Assist in inventory management through stock replenishment and product rotation
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Prior supervising experience or leadership skills in retail settings
• Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate features and benefits
• Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store presentation standards
