Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Support opening and closing procedures including cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions using systems like OpenTable

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food industry tools including culinary knowledge, food preparation, and serving techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Valid hospitality or food service certifications are advantageous but not required
