Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support opening and closing procedures including cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions using systems like OpenTable
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry tools including culinary knowledge, food preparation, and serving techniques
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Valid hospitality or food service certifications are advantageous but not required
