Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Hotel Breakfast Attendant to join our team for weekend shifts. This role is essential in providing guests with a warm and welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and guest relations, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in food preparation, restaurant service, or hospitality is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, guest interaction, and team collaboration within a dynamic hotel setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to hotel standards, including hot and cold dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
• Replenish food stations and ensure all items are stocked and presented attractively.
• Assist guests with food selections and answer questions about menu offerings.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments.
• Manage guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
• Clear tables, bussing dishes promptly to maintain a tidy dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery during busy hours.
• Support catering or banquet setups if needed, including serving or assisting with special events.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety protocols.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering skills are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent guest services.
• Ability to work efficiently during weekends only, with flexibility for early mornings or specific shift times.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
