Schedule: Evening Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), weekends and holidays required

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Evening Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. This role is critical to guest satisfaction and hotel operations. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, takes customer service seriously, and understands the importance of showing up on time, every shift.
This position is best suited for someone who is professional, calm under pressure, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Efficiently complete guest check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, room changes, and guest requests accurately
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest concerns and service recovery situations
- Answer phones, process payments, and balance shift paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Communicate clearly with housekeeping, maintenance, and management
- Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, and safety procedures
Required Qualifications
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are mandatory
- Strong customer service mindset — guests always come first
- Ability to learn hotel systems and procedures quickly
- Comfortable using computers and basic office technology
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous at all times
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred (but Not Required)
- Previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience
- Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, or POS systems
- Hospitality or customer-facing background
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
