MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES
-Ensure that the entire workplace in orderly manner clean, tables, chairs align, counters, roof, side walls to floor ambiance, furniture, fixtures, sculptures, display props.
– Take orders by suggesting to guest and confirming receiving orders! Always upsell to maximize the outlet’s revenue.
– Serve the guests professionally and in courteous manner from the beginning arrival of the guest, through the course of guest stay, meal service until the guests depart from the restaurant.
– Prepare accurate itemize guest checks as per consumption, present it in professional manner, collect payment and return receipt promptly
– Monitor the outlet’s operation cost whilst ensuring the restaurant’s equipment, supplies and stocks are adequate for the business demand.
– Help improve the quality of service by encouraging guests to make comments using the appropriate measures (Tripadvisor, Revinate etc.)
– Monitor each guest experience.
– Ensure customer’s satisfaction by talking to guests.
– Ensure guest satisfaction.
– Ensure presence on the floor during peak hours.
– Uphold a warm and friendly working environment.
– Ensure monitor the records essential to the operation the mis-en-place is ready for service i.e. cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, linen, disinfection liquid, service stations, stationary, guest supplies general store requisitions and stocks are maintain as per operational par stocks. Ensure prompt reporting or submission.
– Keep all equipment clean and in good working condition and reporting problems immediately to all and the Supervisor or Manager for action taking.
