Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest service at all times. The role requires professionalism, accuracy, and strong communication skills to maintain the hotel’s standards and guest satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services
- Greet guests politely and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Verify guest identification, booking details, and payment methods
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Maintain positive guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
Reservations & Payments
- Handle room reservations (walk-in, phone, email, online platforms)
- Update and manage booking systems accurately
- Process payments, deposits, refunds, and pending balances
- Issue invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations
- Follow up on pending payments and credit approvals
Front Desk Operations
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status
- Update room availability, occupancy, and special requests
- Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
- Ensure all guest data is handled confidentially
