Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper / Cleaning Staff

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff in our 16-bed mental health residential facility. This role plays an important part in promoting health, comfort, and dignity for individuals receiving mental health services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and staff areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces according to facility schedules
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste
• Launder linens, towels, and other facility laundry as needed
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies are low
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Use cleaning products and chemicals safely and as directed
• Respect resident privacy, confidentiality, and personal space
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged equipment promptly
• Coordinate with staff to minimize disruption to resident care and daily activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (healthcare or residential setting a plus)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional, respectful, and comfortable working in a mental health residential setting
