UAE PRO – Key Job Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison
- Act as the official point of contact between the company and government departments, including:
- Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)
- Department of Economic Development (DED)
- Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP)
- Dubai/Abu Dhabi Municipality
- Chamber of Commerce
2. Visa and Immigration Processing
- Handle all procedures for employment visas, residence permits, Emirates ID, medical testing, and labour contracts
- Ensure timely renewal and cancellation of visas
- Manage family sponsorship processes for employees
3. Labour and Immigration Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE labour laws and immigration policies
- Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) and other regulatory frameworks
- File and renew company trade licenses and other permits
4. Document Management
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on all official documents:
- Trade license renewals
- Tenancy contracts
- Company establishment card renewals
- Labour and immigration cards
- Maintain records of all government transactions
5. Support During Inspections and Audits
- Coordinate and represent the company during labour inspections
- Ensure readiness for audits and government reviews
6. Advisory and Reporting
- Advise management on regulatory changes
- Prepare periodic reports on visa statuses, license expiries, etc.
7. Other Duties
- Handle notarization and attestation of documents (e.g., MOFA attestation)
- Process health insurance applications where applicable
- Maintain strong working relationships with government officials
✅ Skills & Qualifications (Often Required)
- Strong knowledge of UAE labour, visa, and immigration rules
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Familiar with online government portals (e.g., Tasheel, E-Channel, GDRFA, ICA)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- UAE driving license
