The Telephone Operator is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls efficiently and professionally, providing accurate information, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining proper call records and communication flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and in a courteous manner
- Transfer calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Handle guest or client inquiries and provide accurate information
- Take clear and accurate messages and ensure timely delivery
- Manage wake-up calls and emergency calls as per procedures (hotel operations)
- Maintain confidentiality of information at all times
- Log calls, requests, and incidents accurately
- Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth communication
- Handle complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage
- Previous experience as a Telephone Operator or Front Office role preferred
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Pleasant voice and professional telephone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with telephone systems
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Inside UAE
- Prefer Female candidates
