Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight & Reporting:
- Supervise the day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with senior management.
Compliance & Audit:
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and business performance.
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
- Provide strategic input on financial planning, risk management, and business decisions.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring continuous development and performance.
- Establish clear policies and procedures in line with company and industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA is a plus).
- Minimum 5–7 years of UAE experience in a similar role, preferably within real estate or construction.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, ERP tools, and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
