JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for assisting with the overall supervision of the floor operations to achieve optimal departmental profitability, quality service and standards, and guest satisfaction

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Assist the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager in all aspects of daily operations

2. Assist in the preparation of budget and financial plans, monitor budget and control expenses

3. Identify additional sales opportunities to achieve optimal revenue

4. Prepare the weekly work schedules based on business demands and manning guidelines

5. Conduct pre-shift briefings with the team and review all information pertinent to set-up and service

6. Assign stations and side work to the team, communicate additions or changes to assignments as they arise throughout the shift, identify situations which compromise the department’s standards, and delegate tasks

7. Ensure that guests’ orders are prepared in a timely manner, orders are checked for accuracy, serve as a liaison between the back-of-house and front-of-house

8. Ensure that all orders are prepared and served according to established standards and presentation

9. Inspect table set-ups, checks for cleanliness and arrangement as per departmental standards, rectify deficiencies with respective personnel

10. Monitor inventory and ensure that all materials and equipment are adequately stocked

11. Plan, develop, and implement training program to the team members

12. Establish performance and development goals for team members; provider mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve performance

13. Utilize leadership skills and motivation, challenging colleagues to maximize employees’ productivity and satisfaction

14. Monitor and handle guest complaints in a timely and efficient manner, taking corrective action when required to prevent similar recurrences

15. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and recommend products to guests

16. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures and follow health and safety practices at all times

17. Carry out additional tasks as instructed by the Management

JOB SPECIFICATION

1. With 3-4 years of relevant experience in Hospitality or F&B field

2. Good working knowledge in restaurant management software and POS system

3. Strong management skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills

4. Pleasant and professional personality, excellent communication skills
