The Role

You will join the Sales Team to support with building new relationships with parents in order to book their kids into trials at any of our 3 locations. You will need to build an extensive knowledge of our product offerings and be able to communicate them effectively. You will need excellent attention to detail in order to keep our CRM systems up to date to support the Customer Service and Coaching teams.

Responsibilities:

Specific Role Requirements

  • Manage enquiries, bookings and payments for classes at our facilities
  • Develop proficiency in the use of our client management system to manage services, complete bookings and keep customer records up to date
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls on behalf of the business daily
  • Generate new sales proactively, and execute sales confidently, in person, via phone and email
  • Complete transactions efficiently and keep payment records up to date
  • Manage customer concerns and issues in a calm and confident manner
  • Maintain good communication with the coaching team through relevant updates on student details and providing non-coaching support when required
  • Help to maintain a high standard of organisation and cleanliness in all areas of the facility, particularly the reception
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as required

Experience, education, training and skills/characteristics:

Essential

  • Experience of providing high quality sales prospecting by phone or in a similar face-to-face role
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Educated to college level or equivalent
  • Experience of using CRM (client relationship management) systems and/or databases
  • Fully proficient in use of computer systems including spreadsheets and word processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and an excellent command of the English language
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a busy environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A friendly, welcoming and helpful nature
  • A polite and professional attitude with the ability to remain calm in difficult situations
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to perform the job to the best of your ability
  • A flexible approach to work and a demonstrable ability to be proactive and take initiative

Desirable

  • Experience of working in the sport and fitness industry
  • Experience of working in an environment with children and young people
  • Experience working in a Customer Service Role
  • Familiarity with Google Suite including Drive, Docs and Sheets
  • A current First Aid qualification
