Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Typist cum Data Entry Operator to manage and maintain our data systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, proficiency with data entry software, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Typing and Documentation:
- Type and format documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Ensure all documents are accurate and free from errors.
- Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Input, update, and maintain data in the company’s database or systems.
- Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system.
- Retrieve data as requested for analysis or reporting.
- Record Management:
- Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval.
- Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Quality Control:
- Review data for errors or discrepancies and correct as needed.
- Perform routine audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with team members or departments to obtain necessary information.
- Assist in responding to data-related inquiries.
Qualifications and Skills
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with database software and typing tools.
- Typing Speed:
- Ability to type a minimum of 40-50 words per minute with high accuracy.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- Organizational Skills:
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers with excellent typing and data entry skills are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment
- Office-based role with standard working hours.
- May require occasional overtime during peak workload periods.
