Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Security Assistant Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our Leisure Facility, in alignment with the Company’s Core Processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, secure, and exceptional guest experience, from the facility opening to closing.
The Security Team Leader will supervise a team of security colleagues, maintain high presentation standards, oversee daily operations, and respond effectively to incidents, including potentially stressful or critical situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of security colleagues, including attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals, and personal development.
- Prepare duty schedules and ensure operational readiness while respecting colleagues’ time-off needs.
- Plan and deliver on-the-job and off-the-job training to develop skills and maintain service standards.
- Motivate and recognize team members through incentives and reward programs.
- Ensure departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards are followed and updated as necessary.
- Monitor service delivery, guest satisfaction, and operational performance; propose improvements when needed.
- Track and manage financial targets, inventory, and stock within the security department.
- Participate in daily operations, setting a positive example for the team.
- Organize evacuation drills, monitor security systems, and report irregularities.
- Liaise with authorities (Police, Civil Defense, etc.) to maintain strong relationships and compliance.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and ensure security standards are upheld.
- Conduct recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management for security colleagues.
- Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance within the Leisure Facility.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the facility and secure premises after hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Essential: Higher Secondary or equivalent
- Desirable: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- Essential: 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality/leisure industry
- Desirable: 3 years in a security supervisory role in hospitality/leisure
