Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting, and ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting tasks including data entry and record keeping
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Handle expense claims and ensure policy compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors/customers
- Perform general administrative support for the finance department
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounts or finance support role (freshers may apply if stated)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
