Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, wiping down surfaces & litter picking.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, common areas & utility rooms.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
  • Clean and maintain floor surfaces using appropriate tools, including sweepers, mops, and buffing machines.
  • Replenish consumables like toilet paper, paper towels, and soap in designated areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor/Manager.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are used correctly and safely stored.
  • Assist in deep cleaning tasks and periodic cleaning projects (e.g., window washing, carpet cleaning).
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned to meet the quality standards set by the company and facility management.
  • Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners).
  • Good physical stamina to carry out cleaning duties.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
