Job Summary
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall tidiness of the assigned premises to ensure a safe, healthy, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, reception areas, meeting rooms, corridors, restrooms, and pantry areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures
- Refill washroom and pantry supplies such as soap, tissue, and paper towels
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors as required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Support special cleaning tasks during events, inspections, or deep-cleaning schedules
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cleaner or housekeeping staff preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours if required
