CNC Wood Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Wood Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC woodworking machinery and proficiency in design software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC wood cutting and routing machines safely and efficiently
• Create and modify toolpaths using ArtCAM software
• Work with both 2D and 3D designs to produce high-quality wood products
• Set up machines, load materials, and monitor production runs
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC operator in woodworking
• Strong proficiency in ArtCAM software for 2D and 3D design and machining
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Understanding of wood properties and appropriate cutting techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

Preferred:

• Experience with other CAD/CAM software
• Knowledge of different wood species and finishes
