Job Summary:

The Event Setup Crew is responsible for assisting in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of events, ensuring that venues are arranged according to specifications and that equipment and materials are handled safely and efficiently. This role supports the event operations team to create a smooth and successful event experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading, unloading, and transporting event equipment, furniture, and materials.
• Set up event venues according to layouts, floor plans, and specifications.
• Assemble and arrange tables, chairs, stages, signage, lighting, and audio/visual equipment.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are handled safely to prevent damage or injury.
• Assist with decorating and organizing event spaces as required.
• Support technical teams in setting up AV, lighting, and other equipment.
• Participate in the breakdown and packing of equipment and materials after events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and storage areas.
• Report any damages, safety hazards, or missing equipment to supervisors.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, or manual labor is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment safely.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and physically fit.
