Full job description

As Kids Club Attendant, I will behave in a professional manner and set an example to all. My duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, organize, conduct and create kids’ activities.
  • Provide an educational yet fun environment for the children.
  • Setup Kids Club room and equipment prior to the children’s arrival, including any audio visual, arts and crafts supplies, books, etc.
  • Make, reconfirm and verify guest bookings.
  • Control and direct all children throughout the day.
  • Ensure to address each child by name.
  • Request and collect stock and supply in accordance with minimum stock levels.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and a high standard of hygiene and sanitation of the Kids Club’s area.
  • Present the available activities to each family on arrival.
  • Ensure every child’s dietary restriction, preferences and special requests are taken note and recorded in the systems. Share with other departments when required.
  • Prepare guest bills when required.
  • Participate in the sale or upselling of retail products, ensuring the retail target is achieved (if retail in Kid’s Club is available).
  • Ensure a safe environment for the children.
  • Handle, follow up and report on guests’ comments and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of all emergency evacuation drills according to property policies.
  • Report any health or safety hazards to Kids Club Supervisor and Kids Club Manager.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
  • Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, I will apply an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and use confidential information only to perform my job.
  • Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Upsell all property facilities and activities.
  • Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.

Qualifications
To execute the position of Kids Club Attendant, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized Early Childhood school with kindergarten/ school teaching background and more than one year’s experience in a similar hotel operational role.

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS, PMS and CRM platforms. I have knowledge of learning stories creation for children, latest trends with children and local environmental initiatives.
