We are a well-established civil construction company seeking an experienced Junior Procurement Officer with a strong civil and industrial background to manage procurement activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role involves sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontract services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil construction projects
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Finalize purchase orders and subcontract agreements in coordination with contracts and project teams
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen supplier and vendor relationships
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials
  • Coordinate with planning, QS, and site teams to identify material requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Prepare procurement reports, documentation, and cost comparisons

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience in U.A.E. within a civil construction company
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, suppliers, and subcontracting practices
  • Experience in construction industrial/building.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation
