Full job description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for increasing company revenue by acquiring new travel clients, growing corporate accounts, building partnerships with travel agents, and promoting tourism products (tickets, hotels, visas, holiday packages, tours).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard travel agents, corporate clients, and tourism partners.
- Promote tourism products (air tickets, hotel bookings, holiday packages, visas, tours, transportation).
- Develop sales strategies to grow B2B and B2C market segments.
- Create seasonal promotions and sales campaigns in coordination with marketing.
- Conduct follow-ups on inactive clients and recover lost business opportunities.
- Expand partnerships with local and international suppliers.
- Attend sales meetings, tourism exhibitions, events, and networking platforms.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, agreements, and client offers.
- Coordinate with operations for booking fulfillment and customer support.
- Handle escalations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide management with weekly/monthly sales reports, forecasts, and insights.
- Train and supervise telesales/telemarketing or sales staff.
- Monitor competition and market trends to remain competitive.
Skills & Professional Requirements:
- Experience in travel & tourism sales (preferred)
- Strong network with travel agents, corporates, and suppliers
- Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) is an advantage
- Strong negotiation & communication skills
- Ability to handle price objections and close deals
- Market-oriented, target-driven, and self-motivated
