Job Summary

The Data Entry Operator – Production Department is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining production-related data in the company’s systems. This role supports the production team by ensuring timely and accurate reporting of production activities, material usage, output records, and inventory movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter daily production data such as output, rejects, downtime, and shift reports into the system.
  • Maintain and update production records, logs, and databases.
  • Record raw material consumption, finished goods output, and work-in-progress (WIP) data.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to collect and verify production information.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports as required.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company procedures.
  • Assist in tracking inventory movement related to production activities.
  • Maintain proper filing of production documents (manual and electronic).
  • Report discrepancies or data inconsistencies to the production team for correction.
  • Follow company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred).
  • Fast and accurate typing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and inventory control is an advantage.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions

  • Factory / production environment.
  • Shift-based work may be required depending on production schedules.
