Job Summary
The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll, ensuring compliance with UAE Labor Law, WPS, and company policies. The role handles payroll for both office staff and site-based construction employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, including staff and site labor
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, WPS, and company policies
- Maintain accurate payroll records: salaries, allowances, deductions, overtime, and leave
- Prepare and submit WPS files and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Handle end-of-service benefits, leave salary, final settlements, and gratuity
- Coordinate with site supervisors and Finance for payroll inputs and payments
- Generate payroll reports, payslips, and management summaries
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll and benefits
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field
- 3–5 years of payroll experience in a construction company, managing both office and site staff
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law, WPS, leave salary, gratuity, and payroll compliance
- Experience with HRMS/payroll software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with site teams
