We’re looking for a Guest Service Agent / Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for guests, embodying the hospitality and professionalism of the establishment. As such, the ideal candidate should be friendly, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Tasked with providing exceptional customer service, the Guest Service Agent ensures a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. This role involves efficiently managing check-ins and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and coordinating with various hotel departments to meet guest needs. The Guest Service Agent plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient atmosphere, contributing significantly to the overall satisfaction of guests and the reputation of the hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs, adhering to established procedures.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
- Offer information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist with room assignments and coordinate special requests.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with guests, colleagues, and other hotel departments.
- Handle telephone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with professionalism.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- An operational knowledge and proficiency in Front Office Systems-Micros-PMS and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in customer service or a hospitality-related role is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
