Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journals, and supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with company policies and UAE regulations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including VAT returns and related documentation
- Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and explanations
- Coordinate with operations and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in logistics, transport, or service-based industries
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and UAE financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
