Cashier

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to customers and clients.
  • Maintain daily cash records and ensure proper cash balancing.
  • Deposit cash and cheques in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with basic accounting entries related to cash transactions.
  • Handle customer and vendor payment inquiries professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.

Requirements and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional finance or accounting knowledge is an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
