Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as directed by the senior kitchen staff.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist in the receiving and storing of deliveries and inventory management.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the senior kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Food handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one.
