Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items as directed by the senior kitchen staff.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Assist in the receiving and storing of deliveries and inventory management.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and timely food service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the senior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Food handler’s certificate or willingness to obtain one.
