Full job description

  • Surveillance & Patrolling: Conducting regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks, safety hazards, or unauthorized personnel.
  • Access Control: Monitoring entrances and exits, verifying the credentials of visitors and employees, and managing visitor logs or badge systems.
  • Emergency Response: Acting as a first responder during fires, medical emergencies, or security breaches. This includes evacuating buildings and coordinating with police or paramedics.
  • Monitoring Technology: Operating CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems, alarm panels, and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity.
  • Incident Reporting: Maintaining detailed daily activity logs and writing formal reports on any incidents, thefts, or property damage that occur during a shift.
  • Conflict De-escalation: Managing unruly individuals or crowds and resolving disputes professionally to prevent physical altercations.
