Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Store Keeper for a reputed catering firm. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in store operations within the catering or food service industry and be familiar with food safety and inventory control procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store food items, raw materials, and catering supplies
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory registers regularly
- Ensure proper storage of food items as per hygiene and food safety standards (FIFO/FEFO)
- Issue materials to kitchen and operations teams as per requisition
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or expiry items
- Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Conduct regular stock audits and assist in monthly inventory checks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Store Keeper in a catering or food service company
- Basic knowledge of food handling, storage, and hygiene standards
- Ability to maintain records and reports
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressur
