Parsons is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Dubai! In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful management and delivery of complex infrastructure and urban development projects, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals shaping the future of the region.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage and Control Project Communications: You’ll be the central hub of information, ensuring clear and effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Planning and Scheduling: Developing and updating the project schedule using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Coordinate and Control Deliverables: You’ll ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.
- Projects’ Quality Management: You’ll oversee the quality of all project aspects, ensuring that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.
- Projects’ Reporting: You’ll be responsible for regular project reports, keeping everyone informed about the project’s progress.
- Stakeholder Management: You’ll work closely with all project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Guidance: You’ll provide guidance to the team working on the same project, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Procurement Assistance: Support preparation of RFQs/RFPs, tender documentation, and bid evaluations.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and delivering infrastructure projects, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and other engineering-related software tool.
- Demonstrated potential to perform in a lead capacity, with the ability to guide and coordinate teams effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices applicable to infrastructure planning and execution
