Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate stock records (quantities, specifications, and conditions) using manual logs or digital systems.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical counts to prevent discrepancies.
  • Issue materials, tools, and equipment to site personnel as per approved requisitions.
  • Track usage and ensure proper documentation for accountability.
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate reordering to avoid shortages.
  • Label and categorize items for easy identification and retrieval.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock levels, consumption, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain records of deliveries, returns, and damaged goods.
  • Assist in reconciling invoices with received materials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma; certification in storekeeping/inventory management is a plus.
  • 2+ years as a storekeeper in civil construction (preferred) or related industries.
