Job Summary

The Fiberglass Boat Manufacturing Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations within the fiberglass boat production facility. This includes supervising staff, ensuring safety and compliance, optimizing manufacturing processes, and delivering high-quality products on schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fiberglass lamination and/or aluminum boat assembly, along with strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

· Supervise the complete fiberglass boat manufacturing process.

· Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.

· Monitor workflow and production metrics to ensure efficiency.

Team Leadership

· Lead, train, and manage a team of production workers.

· Delegate tasks and conduct performance evaluations.

· Promote a collaborative and productive work environment.

Quality Control

· Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures.

· Conduct product inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Identify and resolve quality issues with corrective actions.

Process Improvement

· Continuously assess and enhance production processes.

· Identify opportunities to increase productivity and reduce waste.

· Stay updated with advancements in fiberglass technology and materials.

Safety and Compliance

· Ensure compliance with RAK and company safety regulations.

· Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.

Inventory and Budget Management

· Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with suppliers.

· Track production costs and manage within budget.

· Ensure materials and resources are available for uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in fiberglass boat manufacturing or a related industry.

· Familiarity with fiberglass lamination and/or aluminum boat assembly and working on boat molds

· Can manage production line efficiently up to the final production

· Familiarity with gelcoat application

· Able to teach team members proper application of fiber layers

· Previous leadership or managerial experience in a production setting.

· Strong understanding of quality control and safety standards.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
