About the Role

The Logistics & Operations Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end shipping, import, clearance, and re‑export processes for the company’s agricultural commodity shipments. This role requires strong coordination with freight forwarders, clearing agents, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents for all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage documentation for import, export, and re‑export processes (BL, invoices, packing lists, COO, certificates, etc.).
• Negotiate freight and logistics rates to secure competitive pricing and efficient routing.
• Track shipments and ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Maintain shipment schedules, cost trackers, and status updates for management.
• Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams to support smooth cargo movement.
• Identify process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities within operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE port, customs, and trade regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or trade operations preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation management skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures in the UAE is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive problem solver.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other regional languages are an asset.
