The Waiter / Waitress & Runner is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within the service area. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality dining experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesWaiter / Waitress Duties

• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Present menus, explain dishes, and take food and beverage orders accurately
• Relay orders to the kitchen and bar through the POS system
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and minor complaints courteously
• Prepare bills and assist with payments when required

Runner Duties

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately
• Ensure correct presentation of dishes before serving
• Assist wait staff during peak service hours
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Support kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth operations

General Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
• Comply with company policies, SOPs, and service procedures
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service
• Maintain proper grooming and professional appearance at all times

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or food runner preferred
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
