Housekeeping Intern

As Housekeeping Intern, you will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the housekeeping area, learning at different levels of responsibility, and working with a team. You will also provide excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent guest service by anticipating needs and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain and clean guests’ rooms including replenishing room supplies. Inform valets to collect guests’ clothes for laundry, dry cleaning or pressing.
Adhere to Shangri-La room standards policy and maintain the public and general areas.
Report any maintenance-related issue to the Housekeeping Department.
Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.

About You:
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
Previous customer service and/or housekeeping experience in luxury hospitality/customer service is a plus.
High School Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management would be prioritized.
Proficiency in English language.
