Full job description

· Customer Service & Interaction

– Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner.

– Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

– Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.

– Check in with guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.

– Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude.

– Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and pleasant dining experience

· Food and Beverage Handling

– Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.

– Ensure that all food and drink items are prepared and served according to restaurant standards and safety guidelines.

– Assist with the setup, service, and breakdown of buffet stations, if applicable.

– Provide recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate.

· Order Management

– Accurately process and manage orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) system.

– Ensure that orders are delivered to the correct table and verify that all items are included.

– Monitor and manage the flow of service to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction.

· Table Maintenance

– Set up and clean tables before and after guest use, including arranging utensils, napkins, and condiments.

– Ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary items (e.g., glassware, cutlery).

– Reset tables quickly and efficiently to accommodate new guests.

· Collaboration and Communication

– Work closely with kitchen staff, baristas, and other team members to ensure smooth operation and high-quality

Service.

– Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service and address any issues that may arise.

– Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes, service standards,

and operational procedures.

· Financial Transactions

– Present checks to guests and handle cash or credit card transactions accurately.

– Process payments and provide change or receipts as required.

– Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded correctly and securely, and address any discrepancies promptly.

· Compliance and Safety

– Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

– Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to dress code, behavior, and punctuality.

– Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to management immediately.

· Inventory & Administrative Tasks

– Assist in managing and replenishing inventory of tableware, utensils, and condiments as needed.

– Report any shortages or issues with supplies to the supervisor or manager.

– Update guest information and maintain accurate records of orders and payments.

Follow established procedures for opening and closing duties, including cash handling and securing the dining area

Qualification : Any graduation or related certification to Hospitality

Experience : 1+ years of experience in a related field

Training : Certification in Food Safety

Skills : Previous experience in a similar role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends,

and holidays.
