Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts & Human Resources Officer to manage day-to-day accounting operations and HR administrative functions. The role ensures financial accuracy, payroll efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective workforce administration.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
- Prepare monthly financial and expense reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash control
- Prepare payroll calculations and related documentation
- Prepare VAT returns and support internal and external audits
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and tax consultants
Human Resources
- Maintain employee records, including bank accounts and loans
- Coordinate recruitment administration and onboarding processes
- Prepare employment contracts and offer letters
- Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and payroll inputs
- Maintain performance appraisal records
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Maintain training records and employee certifications
Administration & Compliance
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and HR information
- Support audits and government submissions
- Coordinate visa, work permit, and renewal documentation
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
- Payroll accuracy and compliance
- Audit results and documentation completeness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resources
- Professional certifications are an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in accounting and HR administration
- Experience in oil & gas or industrial services is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong accounting and payroll knowledge
- Good understanding of labor laws
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong organizational and communication skills
