Job Summary:

  • Procurement Officer will assist in sourcing, purchasing, and managing company supplies, tools, and vehicle-related materials. The role ensures timely procurement, proper inventory handling, and accurate documentation, while working closely with the Storeman and Accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in purchasing materials, tools, and vehicle supplies as per company requirements.
  • Coordinate with Storeman to track inventory levels and manage stock.
  • Verify deliveries and ensure all items match purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and receipts.
  • Support Accounts with budget tracking and submission of physical receipts.
  • Ensure proper handover and accountability of company assets and tools.
  • Follow company procurement policies and procedures strictly.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining procurement files and documents.
  • Communicate with suppliers for order updates and delivery schedules.
  • Provide support in planning monthly procurement needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in procurement or inventory support preferred.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and accounting processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Responsible and accountable for company assets
