Role Description

The Site Supervisor & Safety Officer is responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating installation works, and ensuring that all operations are executed safely and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. This role ensures smooth site execution while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities – Site Supervision

  • Supervise daily site activities related to ELV, BMS, ICT, and security system installations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and project managers.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Manage site materials, tools, and manpower efficiently.
  • Report daily site progress, issues, and risks to the project management team.
  • Ensure timely completion of works as per project schedules.

Key Responsibilities – Safety & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Ensure workers follow safe work practices and use PPE properly.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and incident reports.
  • Coordinate with consultants and main contractors on HSE matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company safety standards.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses and submit reports.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in site supervision for ELV/BMS/ICT projects.
  • Safety certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of site safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
