Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as per recipes and standards
  • Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, tools, and workstations
  • Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, marinating, etc.)
  • Maintain proper food storage and labeling standards
  • Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Support senior chefs during service and peak hours
  • Minimize food wastage and handle ingredients responsibly

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Basic culinary knowledge or certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
