Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assign duties, prepare duty rosters, and manage staff attendance.
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping team members.
- Ensure proper use and control of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up with Engineering for timely resolution.
- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with Front Office for room status updates and priorities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel environment.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Housekeeping (preferred).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the UAE hospitality industry
- Knowledge of hotel PMS (OPERA)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
