Full job description

• Operate and drive vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport goods and materials to specified destinations.
• Adhere to the assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely load and unload goods and materials, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe driving environment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues, reporting them promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is always in good working condition.
• Interact professionally with customers and clients during deliveries, providing assistance and answering any inquiries they may have.
• Always represent the company in a positive and customer-focused manner.
• Notify the logistics team of any delays, accidents, or issues that may affect delivery schedules.
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork including delivery confirmations, invoices, and other required documentation.
• Follow emergency procedures in case of accidents or breakdowns, including notifying appropriate authorities and reporting incidents to the supervisor.
• Assist in collecting the cash /cheques and deposit as per the finance team instructions
