Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet Customers: Welcome guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
  • Take Orders: Accurately record food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve Food & Beverages: Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Be familiar with the menu, including daily specials, and answer any questions about dishes, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Customer Service: Address customer needs, respond to any issues or complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and ensure cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Payment Processing: Handle cash, card, and other forms of payment accurately, including balancing receipts at the end of the shift.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work with other wait staff, chefs, and kitchen staff to provide efficient service.
  • Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude.
  • Communication: Ability to interact clearly and efficiently with guests and coworkers.
  • Multitasking: Capable of handling several tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure orders are correct and special requests are accommodated.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
