Job Summary

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal staff at the laboratory. The role requires a professional, well-organized individual with strong communication skills in English and Hindi, capable of managing front desk operations, coordinating client inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries efficiently.
  • Coordinate sample receipt entries and maintain visitor and client logs.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating with laboratory and quality teams.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to client visits and laboratory intake.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Support basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report coordination.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, sample, and laboratory-related information.
  • Follow laboratory safety, compliance, and quality protocols when handling visitors or documentation.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written) – mandatory.
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or Customer Service Executive (laboratory, jewellery, or industrial environment preferred).
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling, data entry).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in laboratory, jewellery, bullion, or precious metals industry.
  • Knowledge of basic documentation or sample handling processes.
  • Familiarity with UAE workplace etiquette and professional standards.
