Job Summary
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and internal staff at the laboratory. The role requires a professional, well-organized individual with strong communication skills in English and Hindi, capable of managing front desk operations, coordinating client inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries efficiently.
- Coordinate sample receipt entries and maintain visitor and client logs.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating with laboratory and quality teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to client visits and laboratory intake.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Support basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and report coordination.
- Maintain confidentiality of client, sample, and laboratory-related information.
- Follow laboratory safety, compliance, and quality protocols when handling visitors or documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written) – mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or Customer Service Executive (laboratory, jewellery, or industrial environment preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email handling, data entry).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory, jewellery, bullion, or precious metals industry.
- Knowledge of basic documentation or sample handling processes.
- Familiarity with UAE workplace etiquette and professional standards.
