Key Accountabilities of the role
Ensure effective implementation and compliance of GPPD Principles on ADIB Group P&P documents in collaboration with all ADIB Departments/Units, develop and maintain close links and co-operation with key stakeholders, on policy and Procedure matters.
- Participate in Regular meetings with document stakeholders and provide guidance and resolutions adhering to boundaries set by GPPD Policy
- Weekly/ad hoc progress presentation of statics and resolutions on Expired and near Expiry documents.
- Active Involvement in Project activities for successful launch and roll-out of PPD Document Management System (DMS)
- Timely publication of documents
- Work with respective process owners to assist in developing new or revisions of existing P & P as new bank products or services are offered, new lines of business are initiated, or new regulatory requirements are published
- Ensure appropriate capture of document attributes, perform basic sanity checks, verification of document approvals as per GPPD Approval matrix and liaise prompt uploading of documents to DMS
- Effective change management in documents ensuring prompt updates
- Assist processes owners to effectively develop P&P documents ensuring all required contents are addressed including detailed contents, stakeholders, Key Risk Indicators, Risks & Controls and workflows
- Effective coordination with process owners for efficient review plans of P & P documents, encompassing timely circulation, review, and publishing
- Subject matter expert for bank P & P standards providing guidance and support to ADIB departments
- Maintain regular interaction with document owners, stakeholders, and mandatory reviewers to ensure achieving deadlines of efficient review and approval of the documents
- Share renewal reminders to the respective process owners at agreed intervals for efficient renewal, review, and publishing of the documents
- Maintain healthy relationship with all ADIB Units
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- Post Graduate with 10+ years of work experience
- In depth knowledge of Banking products and services
- Excellent self-motivation, interpersonal skills, hard-working and effective communication skills with a high level of diplomacy and political awareness, and ability to work as a Team.
- Fully conversant with Banks products and Services, policy, and procedures environments
- Excellent knowledge of managing relationships with different stakeholders with strong negotiation skills
- Good oral and written communication skills with ability to convey message to different set of audience
- Sound working knowledge of data analytics including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the internet
