Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless event operations
- Manage budgets and track expenses for various events
- Develop event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Oversee event setup, including audio-visual requirements and seating arrangements
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events
- Maintain a detailed database of event contacts and vendors
- Assist in marketing and promotional activities related to events
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of event planning software is an advantage
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
