We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Computer Operator to join our travel and tourism company. The role involves handling flight ticket bookings, hotel reservations, and general office work, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The candidate should have strong computer skills, accuracy in data entry, and knowledge of travel booking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book flight tickets for customers using online booking portals and GDS systems (if applicable).
- Handle hotel reservations and coordinate with clients and suppliers.
- Manage daily office documentation, filing, and data entry tasks.
- Prepare and maintain booking records, invoices, and travel itineraries.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
- Coordinate with travel agents, airlines, and hotels to confirm bookings.
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining office databases.
- Ensure timely completion of office administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Proven experience as a computer operator, office assistant, or travel booking agent (travel industry experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet browsing.
- Knowledge of airline ticketing systems / hotel booking portals preferred.
- Strong communication skills (English; Arabic/other languages are a plus).
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Customer service–oriented mindset.
