About the Role:
We are launching an exciting new café in the heart of Al Nahda and are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen. If you love creating flavor-packed burgers, hearty sandwiches, and your own signature sauces, this role is for you!
As our in-house Chef, you’ll play a key role in designing and executing a menu that stands out, while also ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and café-style dishes with a creative twist
- Develop signature sauces, spreads, and seasonings from scratch
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
- Collaborate with the café management on menu development, costing, and seasonal specials
- Train and guide any junior kitchen staff when needed
- Manage kitchen supplies, stock levels, and place orders as required
- Ensure timely food preparation, especially during peak hours
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, especially in casual dining or café-style cuisine
- Strong skills in grilling, sandwich-making, and sauce preparation
- Creative flair and the ability to develop new recipes and flavor combinations
- Solid knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Ability to manage kitchen operations independently
- A team player with good time management and multitasking abilities
