Payroll Timekeeper

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Timekeeper to join our project management team. You will be the backbone of accurate labor tracking, ensuring employee hours, attendance, and overtime are meticulously recorded. Your work will directly support smooth payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and efficient project delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Accurately track daily attendance, hours worked, overtime, leaves, and absences for all project staff.
  • Prepare and submit timely, error-free reports on attendance and labor utilization.
  • Coordinate with HR, Payroll, and Project Managers to ensure seamless payroll processing.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, company policies, and project requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies and respond promptly to employee attendance queries.
  • Support project teams with labor cost analysis and efficiency reporting.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of all records.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years’ experience as a Timekeeper or in HR/payroll within the construction/engineering sector.
  • Hands-on experience with time-tracking software .
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations in the UAE.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel-Mandatory)
